Happy Birthday to the Beautiful Women of Escaler St.

MIST WORKS WONDERS

FOLKS, I WOULD LIKE YOU TO TRY THIS ESSENCE: ORO MINT ESSENCE It is 100% pure all-natural food-grade oil essence, extracted from Citrus, Mint, Turmeric, and other herbal plants.It has a very stong odor when you smell it. Aromatic and therapeutic, it relieves 90% of all respiratory and stress-related conditions if you apply it every hour.

I have used it for headaches, toothaches, stomach ache and found that it truly relieves the pains. Once when I woke up, feeling a certain cold and a bit of headache, I applied it on my forehead and throat and the ills just faded away. For stomach ache, I sprayed it underneath my tongue, or sublingually applied it. The pain also was relieved.

If you spray and wear it on your face mask underneath the nose, you'll find it is like breathing in relaxing, soothing, clean air all the time.

Another way of using it is by spraying on your palms, rubbing them together, and inhaling the smell.

Folks, I use a product before endorsing it publicly. This is externally and can be applied internally as when you drop a bit on your tea. This essence really relieves and cures pains. Each of us could have different reactions to a product. But as we say, the fruit of the pudding is in the eating.

Turmeric is anti-bacterial and anti-viral and so this could be one of our defenses to the onslaught of many respiratory illnesses, including Covid 19. WHY ARE THEY GOING OUT?

2. turuan ang mga bata ng kanilang assignments, o kaya gumawa ng pa-contest sa pagsagot ng mga puzzles;

3. mag-internet sa loob ng bahay pero 2 oras lang dahil nakakasira ng mata;

4. mag-overseas call at tawagan ang mga kamag-anak sa abroad; kumustahin sila at bigyan ng kalakasan;

5. magtanim sa paligid; kung walang lupa, mangolekta ng mga lata at punuin ito ng lupa at taniman ng mga buto ng prutas o kaya mamitas ng mga halaman na tutubo kapag itinusok lamang sa lupa;

6.  Inspeksyonin ang mga damit at baka may mga dapat sulsihin;

7. kausapin ng masinsinan ang mga miyembro ng pamilya kung anong gagawin kung saka-sakaling may magkasakit;

8. alamin ang mga first aid sa mga panahon ng sakuna; ng lindol; ng covid-19;

9. alamin kung saan ang pinakamalapit ng ospital;

10. tawagan ang pari o madre at kausapin kung anong mga dasal ang bagay sa mga panahong ito; kuwentuhan sila ng nangyayari sa inyo;

11. bumili ng maliit na kuwaderno at magsulat ng talambuhay, mula pagkabata at hanggang sa ngayon;

12. magsulat ng tula o dula;

13. mangolekta ng mga recipes na lutuin;

14. bumili ng sketchpad o kaya bond paper at mag-drowing o magpinta;

15. ayusin ang banyo o toilet at baka may sira ang mga tubo;

16. inspeksyunin ang gas stove at baka sumisingaw. Mahirap madale ng sunog. Puwera gaba;

17. sa internet magbasa ng kasaysayan ng Pilipinas at ng ibang bansang paborito niyo, o kaya kung nasaan ang mga kamag-anak ninyo;

18. basahin sa internet ang talmbuhay ng ating mga bayani at mga bayani sa ibang bansa;

Maging mapanlikha sa harap ng nakaka tamad na mga panahong ito.

COVID 19 INSPIRES A SONG

FROM AFRICA:

Watch as we use music to send the message and further raise awareness on the Corona Virus pandemic. We hope you enjoy the music, pick the message, share widely & spread the word. In solidarity, we shall beat the virus.

Folks I got this from tweet. You can listen to the music there. Here are the lyrics:

The bad news is that everyone is a potent
But the good news is that everyone is a potential solution
Sensitize the masses to sanitize
Keep a social distance and quarantine

Refrain: The corona virus disease is sweeping over mankind.
Everybody must be alert
It's a global pandemic we can never take for granted
Mooye...
Everybody must take charge
It's a matter of life we can never take for granted

Discipline and personal hygiene and make sure you regularly wash your hands
Keep a distance from everyone
Report anything like a symptom
Serious fever is a symptom
Dry cough is a symptom
Sneezing is a symptom too
Itchy eyes and flu is a symptom
If you get sick please do not transmit the disease
Isolate yourself from the public
Be patriotic
See what's happening in Italy
Many people have died
Prevention is better than cure
Refrain: The corona virus disease should not be taken lightly
It's a matter of life we can never take for granted

Folks, the song's lyrics lack the last part, I think. So, if you have A-class computer, just listen to the Tweet originally uploaded song. It is danceable, reggae style of a song, and it mixes English and African (Ugandan, I think) words. But the message is very clear -- a universal appeal for everyone to get involved in stopping the corona virus disease.
Happy listening.

WHEN DEATH FACES US

Some people refuse to face Death. Others cling on to their loved ones who are dying,  wishing that they too could follow them.

In India, it is a tradition that widows should be buried together with their
husbands, thus showing the low appreciation of women's lives. In our country, we have a term when husbands abandon their wives: the abandoned wife calls herself "byuda sa buhay," meaning widowed by a live partner opposite the real widow who has lost her spouse.

I remember when my Father died, my Mother had told me, "He is only sleeping." I did not understand it too much; but I knew his rocking chair in the house would not move anymore. He would not be there to mix his coffee and drink it every morning while I sat on the floor of the terrace looking out to the streets. The newspaper would just lie on the table. And he would not get angry with me anymore when I cry because my mother is leaving the house to attend to her business.

Do I miss my Father? I did not get to know him so much but I remember that he used to play the piano well. "Sa Kabukiran" was his favorite piece. And my sister, Adelina inherited his piano skills transferring them to me as well, teaching me "Chopsticks" using two fingers.

I had felt the loss of my sister, Evangeline when in 1977 she died in a motorcycle accident. She used to sing folk songs, paint abstract and realistic themes, make ceramic pieces, textile paint shirts, love to cook a nd eat good food, and pray  the novena. Yes she was very prayerful. Every Friday she would go to a church, I think Quiapo church and pray there.

The loss of my Mother was greatest for me in 2008. It took me about 8 months before I was able to recover from it. What made me get over it? I became involved in the US elections - campaigning, emailing my ideas for the first black president.

In 2014, I lost several personal people in my life. Boy Danao, the caretaker of the family 's Antipolo agricultural land died of lung cancer; Vincent Alcazar who had died of a certain lung disease, I think emphysema. He used to have a business in the US that had dealt with asbestos. Vince translated my Feminismo into Spanish. Then my sister Adelina, too, as she had died of cancer. I kept grieving for the loss of my sister. I had wanted to take care of her in Negros Occidental but I was not allowed to. And I did not have funds to fly to the province to take care of her.

Adelina taught me how to read the comics magazines in Tagalog, how to play the piano, and etiquette. She was a real teacher of the home, as she had taken up Home Economics at UP.
But I took the loss of my Son, Eugenio Zigmundo most greatly. I asked God, "God please rewind, rewind," which I cried and shouted in a small corner of the churchyard of Christ the King. He died at the age of 42, too young, but led a fulfilled life, travelling around the globe for an ungrateful foreign IT company. He left three children, all beautiful, two girls, Erika, graduate of Ateneo de Manila and Lara, still in high school at Miriam College, both engaged in the arts and one, Kiko, a graduate of organizational management from UP Manila.

My  grandchildren have grown up well, not having any hang-ups because their Mothers V and C, had made them feel very much loved. My son also brought them to his father's family, a task which my daughter Nadezhda and her husband Thaniel, are undertaking now, everytime there was a family occasion making them feel that they are genuinely significant members of the clan.

Death is a big reality in our midst. Let us face it squarely as all of us will one day meet our Maker and defend the quality of our existence in this world. Face squarely? Tall order I tell you.

Malaking katotohanan si Kamatayan sa ngayon sa atin. Harapin natin siya ng buong tapang. Isang araw, tayo rin ay haharap sa Maykapal at ipagtatanggol ang uri ng ating naging buhay sa mundo.

How do we face it? Let us light a candle for all the victims of Covid-19. Paint artistic street art depicting death and life.

SIMPLE MEDITATION

Yesterday, I heard a local official from the south say over the radio interview (92.3 fm) that meditation is very good to practice at this time. Allow me to give a simple tip for that:

Sit on a comfortable chair. Close your eyes or keep them open and look at a lit candle. Then forget the cares of the day and just think of breathing in and out, or look at the light from the candle. Do this for five minutes or more.

This daily practice can do wonders for keeping ourselves calm all throughout the day. Even during the day, we can practice it, morning, noon, and especially in the evening before retiring.

This will give us fresh perspectives in looking at our problems.

FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD TO COUNTER COVID-19

The barangay gave loads o f eat goods per resident. Aside from these, I think we should have ready-to-eat food banks. In every barangay, let us have cooked foods as not all of our kababayan have a stove or can afford to buy a cooking stove.

I myself don't cook at home as I don't eat rice and would rather have "gadgad" fresh fruits and vegetables,  Then I also eat noodles which could be cooked by just adding water. Otherwise, I also go out to eat where I can find a variety of cooked foods to choose from

Each barangay must have a ready table for children, PWDS and senior citizens who may not have the capability to cook.

And, and, we must ask the chef not to overcook vegetables. I notice that  even in posh restos, vegetables are served very hot which then implies that their nutrients have been reduced in strength if not done away with completely.

Then at supermarkets and markets, we must have shelves that have dried fruits and vegetables which are ready to eat. More dried fruits like raisins, apricots, mushrooms, nuts, kangkong, etc. Let us encourage our food manufacturers to produce them in millions and sell them cheaply. Nuts are especially good for senior citizens in order to make our minds active and far from suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

Of course, fruit juices must be abundant. I notice that at supermarkets all of the juices are made by foreign manufacturers from Thailand, Taiwan,  and other Asian countries. We must encourage our food manufacturers to get into this direction of fruit juice manufacturing. The anti-Covid-19 gang must make sure that they enter the field of food manufacturing so that the operations gear to healthy foods.
t
I particularly like drinking milk and eating cheese, which are good as sources of Vitamin D for bones and teeth. Bu they are so expensive. Government must get into importing these goods in order to lower the costs. Let us not leave this to the importers as they put in 30 to 40% in order to recover their costs and have a large margin of profit.

Let us eat glorious, nutritious foods and keep our people really, really healthy.

PROVINCIAL PROPAGANDA

We must conduct nationwide propaganda about natural healing. There are 81 provinces in the country, the most populous of which are Cebu and Cavite. But our parameters will be different now. We must look into those areas where the disease is most prevalent, and that is NCR.
Now is the time to decongest our urban poor areas. Let us put more people in  sparsely populated areas where they can breathe fresh air.

Let us make the DENR work 24 hours to clean our surroundings.

Let us have garbage cans every 50 meters so people can spit there or where they can throw their trash.

Let us have drinking water fountains at every corner of a building, every plaza, and markets.  Drinking water, hydrating is very important for both healthy and sickly people.

Give people vegetables and fruits apart from rice and noodles because these are the essentials of living.

Living healthy is now a must for all of us.

HEALTH LEAFLETEERING

In order to make the people appreciate what we are doing, we must produce many leaflets and brochures to educate our people on how to strengthen their bodies the natural way.

In my literacy advocacy, I have found out that the best way to connect with the urban and rural poor that these educational materials are highly attractive to them as in simple words and portable forms, they can easily get a wealth of information that really help them health-wise.

MOBILIZING THE PEOPLE

EVERY HOSPITAL, CLINIC AND HOME must have a big supply of these herbal ingredients. It must be a must to feed everyone of these and many more fruits and vegetables like the berries, kangkong leaves, malunggay, spinach, and lettuce among others which are all available in our country.

Let us call on virgin coconut oil manufacturers flood the markets with their products.

Let us stop profiteers who jack up the prices of these goods by jailing them right away. We have no need for such people who are anti-humanity.

Let us ask all naturopathic manufacturers to bring down the prices of their products or else the government shall take over the management of their companies.

Each child and pregnant mother, senior citizens, PWDS must be prioritized as recipients of these herbal supplies.

Let us mobilize the country to look into our environment for solutions to this pandemic.

HOW TO STRENGTHEN OURSELVES THE NATURAL WAY

.

The first act of the anti-Covid 19 gang is to build an armory of turmeric, and the following herbs:
honey
 chamomile
 dried ginger
 orange peel
 cinnamon
 cardamom seeds all of which are available in the Philippines and Asia.
 garlic
 gingko biloba
 ginseng
 green tea

  The solution to the pandemic is here on earth. The virus came from earth and laboratories, So we can easily defeat it.
  My system is guerrila type of facing this plague. First of all, we must lose all our fears of using out-of-the ordinary  methods, as even doctors and other health workers are quarantined or have died.

  And so we must make sure that as soon as an individual exhibits the symptoms of colds and coughs, then we should pump up their bodies with the above concoctions of the different herbs.

Let us defeat this disease in the most brilliant manner using our natural resources.

Let us mobilize all our inventors, formulators, herbalists, naturopathic health doctors and workers and make them come up with juices, essences, foods, and liniments that we can apply on the bodies of healthy and unhealthy bodies.

Let us also drive our farmers to conduct planting of millions of plants of the above in order to give us a never-ending supply of the above.

 Ask everyone also to make it a habit to go by the sea and breathe fresh sea air.
Most importantly, make it a must for everyone to go out and sunbathe every morning from 6 to 9 am as the sun's rays are truly beneficial in strengthening our bodies as it gives Vitamin D.

FOR FAR TOO LONG, WE HAVE DENIED, IGNORED, OMITTED NATURAL FOODS IN OUR MIDST. Thinking that to eat processed foods and medicines is "fashionable, cool and politically-dorrect.." Now we know that we have to make a 180 degrees turn around.

LET US DO IT NOW BEFORE WE ARE DECIMATED, OR EVEN FAIL TO SAY GOOD-BYE TO OUR LOVED ONES.

HAIL THE FILIPINO PEOPLE

LET'S SING AWAY CORONA VIRUS

STANZA 1
Mangarap Mahigpit na mangarap
Gapiin ang kaaway na ito
Batahin anumang kalungkutan
Labanan, Buhay ay ipaglaban ,
(To dream the impossible dream, To fight the unbeatable foe, To bear with unbearable sorrow, To run where the brave dare not go //

STANZA 2
Tapakan lahat ng kaaway
Ibigin ang sangkatauhan,
Magtiis kahit na nahihirapan,
Huwag na huwag manlulumo
(To right the unrightable wrong, To love pure and chaste from afar, To try whe your arms are too weary , To reach the unreachable star)

STANZA 3
Maglahong bula,
Ang salot na ito
Lusawin na natin,
Huwag mag-atubili,
Sa pakikihamok
ng buong kalakasan,
Luha't pawis, buhay
Ay ating iaalay
(This is my quest
To follow that star,
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far,)

STANZA 4
Makihamok tayo,
Para sa isa't isa,
Isuong ang buhay
Para sa sangkatawhan
To fight for the right,
Without question or pause,
To be willing to march into hell
For a heavenly cause

STANZA 5
Gapiin ang kaaway na ito,
Itaas ang sulo
Ang mundo liligayang muli
Sa pagsasama-sama
(And I know if I'll only be true,
To this glorious quest,
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm,
When I'm laid to my rest)

STANZA 6
Bawa't tao, nakatatanda o bata
Makihamok para sa isa't isa,
Buhay bigay ng Panginoon
Mangarap
Gapiin ang kaaway
(And the world will be better for this,
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove with his last ounce of courage,
To reach the unreachable star.)

DON'T TURN THEM AWAY WITHOUT TIPS....

The opportunity of corona virus patients to be confined at the hospitals is becoming narroer as the number of persons under investigation is rising.

I think patients should not be just turned down but must be given ways by which to deal with their sickness at home.  Here are tips culled from online articles:

1. QUIT SMOKING AND AVOID SMOKERS... Tumigil na sa paninigarilyo at lumayo sa mga naninigarilyo

2. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER EVERY HOUR. Uminom ng maraming baso ng tubig kada oras.

3. Breathe deeply. Huminga ng malalim.

4. SUNBATHE EVERY MORNING FROM 6 TO 9 A.M.  PAARAWAN aNG LIKOD AT HARAP TUWING UMAGA, ALAS 6-9 AM.

5. EXERCISE DAILY. Magehersisyo araw-araw.

6. CLEANSE INDOOR AIR. Linisin ang hangin sa loob ng tahanan.

7. SLEEP 8 TO 10 HOURS EVERY NIGHT. Matulog ng 8 hanggang 10 oras gabi-gabi.

8. PRACTICE DEEP BREATHING.

10. Don't be ashamed to ask for help from housemates. Huwag mahihiyang humingi ng tulong sa kasambahay.

SKULL FASHION

HOW TO DEAL WITH THE IO OF THE WH? Show him the fashion of skulls.

ON THINKING OF ANTI CONVID-2019 SOLUTIONS

As the world is dealing with a pandemic disease, it is unfathomable how weak we feel; how so vulnerable we are to the disease. After reading so many billions of dollars spent for bombing this and that country, or sending a rocket into outer space, or even investigations that only end up with a thud, like the Mueller investigation, we cannot help but ask, where is the world going to?

As so much squabbles are occurring to find out how to test people if they are positive for that idiotic disease as corona virus, let us also make the world go back to the soil to cultivate plants, vegetables and fruits that can strengthen our bodies against all kinds of illnesses. I do not believe that there is no cure for this disease at all. The solution is lurking somewhere; it is just that there is a news spin going on, all making the discussions revolve around how great this pandemic disease is, or how many have contacted a patient positive with the virus, and so forth and so on.

Angela who hails from Cagayan has told me that a patient with the virus has healed after being fed with macabuhay tea. Mang Jun has discovered an essence that contains turmeric and other herbals which is inhaled. It makes the individual sleepy and makes the lungs free of phlegm. Eventually it eases the pain. In an earlier blog I have written about an NGO health worker heal can cer patients by feeding them with malunggay, kangkong,  kamote,  r and luyang dilaw or turmeric, among others.

The pronouncements from China shows that they are slowly overcoming the disease. That is expected of them since they have a long history of medicinal researches dating back to ancient times.

I am not apt to say that the world will fold up because of this disease. I just think that there is too much manipulation of the news so much so that we cannot focus on the right solution right away.

We must promote the planting and harvesting of yellow ginger or luyang dilaw which is anti-viral and anti-bacterial. Let this be available for all.

Then our inventors have products that can solve many health problems. Mang Jun has invented an essence that contains 100% pure all-natural food grade oil essence extracted from citrus, mint, turmeric and philippine herbal plants.

Joe Ingles also has the black garlic which is an antioxidant. All  Antioxidants can help reduce inflammation and prevent the development of cancer and diabetes, among other health problems.

Call this number for supply: 09052237548.

True, let us keep calm, keep our heads together and stay focussed on how to beat the deadly virus out of our system.

WHO WILL WIN?
