The Public Interest Law Institute has published a book titled,
Pursuing the Public InterestA Handbook for Legal Professionals and Activists

"This handbook represents an attempt to synthesize a wide-ranging body of knowledge and experience regarding the diverse set of activities that have been adopted by public interest advocates in former socialist countries.
