SAVE THE HIGHLY-SKILLED

"CREATIVITY IS CONTAGIOUS; PASS IT ON. Albert Einstein."
The closure of ABS CBN will mean the displacement of many highly-skilled employees. It takes years to know how to handle the camera, the microphone when shooting scenes, the editing machines, the lighting equipment, the transmission equipment, and many more. Knowing how to operate the business, how to audit, how to market programs and many more require special skills.

The Dept of Labour must insure that the employees' skills will not be lost by disemployment.

Just like the film section of PIA. Many people lost their jobs, got retired early. Their skills are now history.

When UP closed the public cafeterias, many chefs and cooks also lost their jobs. Some were transferred to other canteens only to become waiters and waitresses.

New owners of the equipment of ABS-CBN should start right away, disallowing any gap in operations.

Whatever PDD despises in the channel's practices, one of which was  not airing his ad after being paid during the political campaign period must be threshed out in the courts with the charge subject as business malpractice.

Business owners will always float through economic recessions and problems but not employees who depend for their bread and butter on their employers.

Channel owners have a deep well of resources when the economic crunch happens, but not the employed.
