Folks I heard Ka Lemy Roxas, a mechanical engineer over DZXL tonight in the radio programof his party, the Katipunan ng Demokratikong Pilipinas. I am happy that he is back in the airwaves as we need as many scientific-minded individuals like him on the air. He is espousing the activation of the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant in order to lower the price of electricity.
He used to be one of the senatorial candidates of KDP but horror of horors, he was eliminated because another Roxas presumptuously claimed that Ka Lemy would jeopardize his position as a candidate as they have the same family name.
It was a painful act of Comelec as it sided with the protestee. Nonetheless Ka Lemy could always work in the Senate under any of the KDP candidates who will win either as chief of staff and/or any other important posiion.
So my dear Folks, should you run for public office, be sure to use a name that will be so unique that nobody else can ape it or claim that it is similar to his or hers.
