WAR TO KNOW WHO IS PRO OR ANTI-FILIPINO LIVES

when playing video war games, it seems so easy to kill people. just point the armalite on the enemy and off with his head. when playing chess, it is so easy to surround the king and queen with pieces and when the king is defeated, you just flip it and it is dead. yes, when playing games, killing and murdering people looks so easy. we don't really mind because we don't see any blood spurting or flowing; neither do we witness twitching of bodies as they expire, or even of eyes that close slowly as the body loses blood. Neither do we hear voices that scream for help or cries for succor. instead we are just callous, insensitive viewers of cutting off life.

but in real wars, we then know that people are human beings after all. it is no longer easy being watchers or viewers. we are compelled to act, to help other people survive. we like to extend our hands to lift, to snatch them from the clutches of death. woe to the soldiers who have to pull the triggers instead of throwing their guns down and reaching out for the victims, whether enemies or not.

now we have the civilian war in Zamboanga between the MNLF and the government. after Vice-President Binay went there to negotiate with Nur Misuari the rebel leader, i would not know who else could equal his savvy in solving nitty-gritty conflicts. VP Binay was the best man in 1989 when Cory's government was besieged by rebels who started the coup which fizzled out. he has the calm, confident mien so necessary for dealing with hotheads.

it is so strange that the plan he and Misuari hatched up was not bought by PNoy and his military officers which was to have a ceasefire while letting the hostages free, and allowing the rebels retreat to their lairs. WHY THIS STUBBORN CLINGING TO WAR? Are the soldiers' And the hostages lives not important? The rebels could still be pursued later on after the hostages are freed. But why this nullification of the plan? Is 2016 the determining factor?

Folks, let us remember the way current officials solve critical issues of our day. Come 2016, let us recall that this period represents that era when the officials were anti-Filipino lives, not pro-.  Hence, they do not deserve a seat in the government at all anymore.
