WHEN PEOPLE DECIDE

How should we live in this world? Some people are satisfied with a 9 to 5 job that provides them a good pay. Others prefer being on their own, conducting business where they can control how much they will earn day by day. Still others concoct new ideas that are original initiatives. They join networks, movements, and other organizations that inspire them to be creative, to be good followers for a cause, and many more. 

Unfortunately the latter is not readily achievable especially if the movement shakes up the status quo. They contend however that how can society change if not shaken up by people to start moving into the direction they wish it to go?

This is where the State has to decide whether to be liberal or autocratic 

It has to decide or the people will decide for it.

I suggested to him through texts to talk to them directly because their superior who is based in Galas BalicBalic does not sem to hold sway on them. While inside my residence, I talk to my Assistant about man-woman relationships as well as the prison-like status of mine. Suddenly, cigarette smoke will be blown through the gaps in my door and window. When I gomout to inspect the hallway, nobody is there.

The at times, when I go up,the fifth floor of my residence, smoke fills the atmosphere, making me asthmatic, hard of breathing. So much so that it is really difficult negotiating the stairs.

FOOD EXHIBITS FROM OUR RURAL AREAS NATIONWIDE

I was invited by Dr. Estela Tano of Tiaong, Quezon who has been an agricultural researcher from southern Tagalog for many years to the 15th Agriculture and Fisheries Technology Forum and Product Exhibition being held at the RDMIC Bldg. Visayas Ave., QC.

Everyone should come because here we see the creativity and resourcefulness of our people in being able to harness the natural resources and come up with foodstuffs that can rival all the imported ones we have like ginger candy, mushroom crispies, seafood binagoongan, native clothing with indigenous designs by the tribal groups from Mindanao,/

I cannot say except superb to all the foodstuffs that I was able to taste. My comments are:

1. MetroManilans need to have labels of products. So if your product is mushroom, share to us the nutrients that can be had from it. If ginger, again what can it do to our bodies? And so many more. In other words, we need a good educational learning of what all of our natural resources around can do for us.

2. Flyers and tarpaulins around the QMR have to be put up, from one building to another, including inside buses and jeepneys, to make us aware of the event;

3. Have a signboard where we can find the restrooms please.

That's all and I hope that we shall be afforded cheaper goods than what the malls offer us here.

WHEN DESTRUCTIVE ENVIRONMENTAL PHENOMENA ARE INDUCED

 The different environmental phenomena happening in our country like the squall and earthquakes have made me focus on the causes -whether they are naturally induced or caused by nuclear tests.

The problem is that I am just relying on the data produced by the internet which is rather inadequate. 

We had rather disastrous earthquakes and when I looked for the nuke tests conducted during the years they occurred, only the North Korea testings can be found closest in time to the occurrency of the earthquakes. Beyond that, the other countries' nuke trsting data are rather inadequate like those done by Russia and China. 

I wish the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute would not be too stingy with their data but rather publish them in the internet, that is if they have any. Recently I went to the PHIVOLCS and got good data about   earthquakes, their dates of occureence and magnitude as well. 

So Impity those coastguards who were dismissed from their position. They could be victims of poor analysis of harmful atmospheric and environmental phenomena in the world. So due to lack of data and lack of rigorous approach to investigating the effects of nuclear trstings, they have to follow the decision. I still believe that they should not have been dismissed from their positions right away.

WHEN FEELING LONELY IS NOT RECOGNIZED AS A VALID STATE

I have a question to the Social Security System about its rules and procedures.

A woman farmer lost her husband who was an SSS member. For many years, she was able to tide over the needs of her family, three children through his pension. Then in a bout of loneliness she had a relationship with a man with whom she bore a child. But she never married him and in fact has separated from him already. . 

The SSS suddenly stopped her pension and now she has to submit herself to domestic caring for other people in order to  survive. Her children are all grown up now but she has a small child to take care of. 

Is it righteous and just for the SSS to deny her her pension just because she had a friend who was there when she needed someone to fill up her lonely moments? 

I think that the SSS hold on the family of her husband, she included, ended when he died. Therefore, SSS just has to fulfill its obligation of releasing the pension which he deserves and the wife rightly inherits, after having paid all the premiums necessary for him to earn the various benefits. 

In the name of humanity, the SSS must look hard at its policies if they are justifiable, according to human rights, and not oppressive to the conditions of the members. 

Honorable President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, shouldn't the SSS restore all the premiums that they have withheld from the widows of departed SSS members of the same case as mentioned above?

NATIONAL GENEROSITY

We must create, organize, and make active a NATIONAL GIFTS CENTER. This will be the depository of all gifts to all government officials, officers and employees. Not one of them should accept any gift at all from private individuals and companies. Instead they should be deposited at the NGC which will distribute them to all the needy in the Philippines - the prisoners at all police precincts, the orphanages, the senior citizens retirement homes, the hospitals with indigents, and all other disadvantage groups. 

Let us be generous to them and not quarrel on whether they should accept this and that and how much. Blessings are only for those in need now. Let us all be Mr and Ms. Santa Clauses the whole year round. 

WHEN TIME ON THE ROAD COULD BE SHORTENED

While riding a bus going through Edsa, I started to look at the problem of traffic and saw a simple solution which should really make so many happy. All the drivers have to do is sit through the traffic for thirty minutes and wait for their turn to move. Going South or going North, every driver has to endure the waiting.

Where is the key to solving the problem here? Just make EDSA one lane going South from 1630, the whole of Edsa. Then those going North will wait from ayala for their turn to move. Then at 1700, make the whole EDSA go North while those going South will wait for their turn starting at Quezon Ave. In this manner, drivers will know exactly when they will move and no longer wait for kingdom come to give them space in Edsa.

Thus, every thirty minutes, the two sides shall be taking alternate turns to use Edsa. All traffic lights shall follow the scheme. This should last only from 1630 to 2100.

Regular traffic scheme shall resume after 2100.

WIth his scheme, drivers can spend more productive time, solving ouzzles, listening to good music or the news as they know what time they should drive again.

The United Nations should act with dispatch on missile testings all over the world. We are experiencing events that are bringing our county to complete destruction and annihilation of our people. Only the UN can being about a strong message and make all countries with missile testing capabilities to stop all over their activities.

Moreover, these rockets can have liquid or solid propellant. Liquid propellants "generally burn longer in the boost phase than solid-propellant rockets [do]," Coyle said. In contrast, solid propellants "provide their energy in a shorter amount of time and burn faster."

Liquid and solid propellants can send rockets equally far, "but most countries start out with liquid propellant technology because it's well understood," Coyle said. "[As] they graduate, they move to solid propellant to get the faster burn times. It also avoids the hazards of dealing with dangerous liquids that are both flammable and toxic."

In the third phase, the ICBM re-enters the atmosphere and hits its target within minutes. If the ICBM has rocket thrusters, it might use them to better orient itself toward its target, Coyle said. However, because of the intense heat encountered when they re-enter the atmosphere, ICBMs can burn up and fall apart unless they have proper heat shields, Coyle noted.

For the Hwasong-15, the entire trajectory took 54 minutes, significantly longer than North Korea's 37-minute test on July 4, 2017, and its 47-minute test on July 28, 2017, Wright wrote on his blog.

Folks I have a theory which I would like you to look into. The recent tragedies which occured in Itbayat, Batanes where 9'died and 60 were injured, together with the destruction of heritage sites, plus the capsizing of boats in the sea between Guimaras and Iloilo where 31 died, have made me ponder the role of North Korean firing of missiles recently.


On July 25, 2019, North Korea fired two missiles which traveled 690 kilometers. It landed in the sea of Japan. 

After two days, Juky 27, 2019, at 4:16 am, Batanes suffered from that disastrous earthquake. 

Then on the 31st of July, and the 2nd of August, 2019, North Korea fired missiles again. 

August 3rd, a squall happened which caused three passenger boats to capsize on that strait between Guimaras and Iloilo.

The closeness of the dates of the events makes me think if the missiles which enter the atmosphere and can land with tremendous thunder on the sea could have causedthe disasters that affected us. 

Now let us asko the DOST to provide us a scientific view of why these environmental disasters are happening to us and to link the connections between the use of missiles and their effects on the atmosphere and the environment. I am not a scientist and have limited knowledge of how missiles work. But when people die and cultural relics are destroyed, it is time for us to speak up, firing missiles is no lo ger funny,  don't you think?

Ang kuwento ng Cinderella ay palasak na sa atin at ito ay kinalulugdan ng mga babaeng nanggagaling sa mababang bahagdan ng ating lipunan. Si Cinderella ay inuupasala ng kanyang mga kamag-anak, isang tiyanat dalawang babaeng mga anak nito. Si Cinderella ay anak ng kanyang tatay sa unang asawa na namatay. Namatay din ito ng maaga kaya naiwan siyang biktima ng karahasan ng kanyang mga kamag-anak sa ama. ( Walang sisterhood dito sa mga kamag-anak. Sila sila may sisterhood pero hindi para kay Cinderella.)

Ang mabuhay sa ating bansa bilang babae ay napakadali. Kailangan palangiti ka. "Huwag kang makikipag-away," Yan ang sinasabi sa akin parati ng Nanay ko. Paano bang gagawin ito? Tumahimik sa harap ng mga pangiinsulto? Hindi. Ngumiti kapag sinilulamsa daan ng mga kanto boys? Hindi in. Basta lumakad na lang ng mabilis.

Natatandaan ko pa noong nasa Bacolod ako, Grades 1 hanggang 3, ako paratnang first honor sa klase namin. Ang principal namin ay si Mrs. Llorca na Nanay ng aking guro sa piano na si si Ms. Eva Llorca. Ang aking guro sa third grade ay si Ms. Esporas. Mahal na mahal niya ako ay sa minsang pagkakamali ko na nakita ko ang grades ko sa mesa niya, napagalitan ako at ako'y imiyak ng umiyak. Galit ang dalawang lalaking yoon sa akin kasi parati silang napapagalitan ko kung hindi nakikinig sa klase at nagdadaldalan. Ako ang hinihirang ni Mrs. Esporas ( at ng iba ko pang mga guro na sorry po at di ko na po ma-recall ang mga pangalan) upang tumayong tutor kapag siya ay lumalabas ng kuwarto.

Mahal na mahal ako ng mga gueo kasi pagkatapos ng klase sa hapon, tumutulong oa ako sa paglilinis. Minsan ay nadilas ako sa kabubunot at natumba ako sa sahig. Namaga ang  aking pisngi at matagal bago ako naka-recover para tumayo. Nilagyan ng titser ko ng yelo ang aking pisngi.

Binubunot ko ang sahig ng aming classroom dahil paligsahan sa buong eskwelahan kung anong klase ang pinakamalinis. Pati ang sahig kumikinang sa kinis at linis dapat.

Ngayon mabalik tayo sa dalawang lalaking ito. Ang natatandaan kong pangalan ng isa ay E C. Kapag tatawagan ko kayo sasabihin ko sa inyo ang buong pangalan niya.Ang una ay Eduardo nga pala.

Ngayon bakit ko binabanggit ang karahasang natanggap ko sa mga kaklase kong lalaki? Kasi hindi lamang sa pisikal ang pagiging marahas sa babae. Nariya din ang mga fairytales. At tatalakayin ko yan sa susunod na kabanata.

TO ALL COUNTRIES DEALING WITH FAKE PRESIDENTS

HOW SHOULD A FAKE PRESIDENT BE DEALT WITH?

A fake president tramples upon the rights of the people to choose their own leaders. Because of this, it is important to show that this individual is a non-entity. What better way to do that but to delete his name in every speech and instead refer to him in generic terms.

In a political campaign, the opposition party could do that and also just focus on their political plans once in office.

Last night I could hardly sleep. Unti 3:30 am some boys were playing pool at the carpark of our compound. Actually they have been doing that since about four months back. Because of my desire to have a quiet place, I reported it to the governor, Ms. Rose Borlongan and she said she would tell them  to stop at 10pm. But the problem persisted until I asked the help of 8888, then 911 which could contact the barangay tanod of Bgy Donya Imelda headed by Ferdinand Ubaldo. Yet nothing happened. The 8888 operator said that all they could do was report the matter to the agency concerned. I went to the Internal Affairs Service last July 4th to report the noisy situation also, and till now no answer.

Last night I lost my cool and voiced out my misgivings ending with the question, Pilipino ba kayo," and no reply. 

Today, my computer is being jammed. My internet is malfunctioning.Whereas yesterday it was playing great music. Today, I cannot get any total projection of any program without the sound conking out or the video hanging.

Folks these people lack any ounce of respect for the elderly, those who need a good night's sleep.

I wrote my friends in FB ro help me connect with Pres. Duterte, to stop it. I also called up the Camp Karingal and a certain Corporal Salazar.  I hope something comes out of it.
