PHILIPPINES for RESPONSIVE GOVERNANCE-THIRDFORCE Many groups have arisen in the Philippines clamoring for changes in governance. Good Governance, Moral Governance and now, RESPONSIVE Governance. We all have one thing in common -- a change of philosophy in governing from corrupting, corruptible and corrupt to one that is populist, considering the real needs of the people to alleviate poverty, raising their consciousness as well as delivering them from the many ills in society.

SIMPLE NEWSWRITING
Frankly speaking Folks, I have a hard time reading some news items from the western world. They are written in English but there is too much ornamentation in the writing.
For example, this news about Speaker Paul Ryan and the immigration bill.
I want to know what the contradictory ideas are: one, is there a group among the Republicans who are for making it harder for the immigrants who have come in illegally while still children? Two, is there a group among the Republicans who want to keep them in the US for humanitarian reasons? Who are they?
Now, the news says that there are moves to change the law. First question, for whom is Mr. Ryan?
Next question, why the objection to the stay of the immigrants?
Third question, what are the reasons of Mr. Ryan for rooting for which side?
I am for writing clearly about political issues, Folks, especially if they are relevant to our compatriots in the United States. I know that there are many Filipino workers there who could be feeling the hot waters rising against their stay there. We should give them support as their dreams are similar to ours -- a humane world that allows everyone to live and breathe peacefully. .
